Eleanor Yap is a graphic designer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Since completing her Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication and Design at Monash University (2005) she has exhibited both nationally and internationally presenting her first solo show "Planet Earth" at Melbourne's Off the Kerb gallery.

In 2007 she collaborated with Australian fashion label
Dhini and her textile designs appeared on the catwalk of Australian Fashion Week at Dhini's celebrated collection 'Song of the Drowned'. Her work has been featured in publications such as Semi-Permanent's '06 book (Sydney/Auckland), Ruby Magazine and Curvy 4.

She loves Whippets, Paphiopedilums, Art Deco and Nouveau jewellery, Textile design, Nice Biscuits and long walks on the beach (with a camera by her side).

...and she doesn't usually refer to herself in third person.
